Administrator – Contract Role

Marist is hiring!

As part of our mission to provide a high level of water polo resources and opportunities, we are currently looking to engage a contractor to assist with the club administration and we want to hear from our Marist family first.

This role will play a key part in the club’s future, supporting the committee, coordinators, coaches, and players to have a smooth, safe and enjoyable water polo experience. The position is for approximately 20 hours a week, worked flexibly and from home. The successful person would need to be available in the evening for committee meetings once a month and occasionally on weekend for club competitions or events.

Key tasks include:

  • Club administration
  • Club hub (our online registration and membership management system) administration
  • Assisting with financial management
  • Administration of Internet and Social media activity
  • Providing committee support
  • Updating and maintaining club policies and procedures

The successful administrator will have:

  • 3 + years’ experience in office administration
  • Excellent Microsoft skills, including word and excel
  • Experience in databases
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be highly organised and an excellent planner
  • The ability to solve problems with a focus on players and club members needs
  • Knowledge of the water polo community
  • MYOB/Xero experience preferred but not essential
