Administrator – Contract Role
Marist is hiring!
As part of our mission to provide a high level of water polo resources and opportunities, we are currently looking to engage a contractor to assist with the club administration and we want to hear from our Marist family first.
This role will play a key part in the club’s future, supporting the committee, coordinators, coaches, and players to have a smooth, safe and enjoyable water polo experience. The position is for approximately 20 hours a week, worked flexibly and from home. The successful person would need to be available in the evening for committee meetings once a month and occasionally on weekend for club competitions or events.
Key tasks include:
- Club administration
- Club hub (our online registration and membership management system) administration
- Assisting with financial management
- Administration of Internet and Social media activity
- Providing committee support
- Updating and maintaining club policies and procedures
The successful administrator will have:
- 3 + years’ experience in office administration
- Excellent Microsoft skills, including word and excel
- Experience in databases
- Strong communication skills
- Be highly organised and an excellent planner
- The ability to solve problems with a focus on players and club members needs
- Knowledge of the water polo community
- MYOB/Xero experience preferred but not essential
