Eastern League

The Marist Eastern League is a water polo competition for Year 7 & 8 school teams that takes place during Term 2 and 3.

The first games of the 2025 season will be held on Friday 2nd May. The final games will take place on Friday the 12th September.

All games will be held at Sacred Heart College Aquatic Centre.
All games are to be completed before 9:00pm.
All games are played in the full pool.
Our playing rules are aligned with New Zealand Water Polo.

If your team requires a later start time due to the distance you must travel to get to the Sacred Heart Aquatic Centre, this can be accommodated.

If your child would like to play in the competition but their school does not have a Year 7/8 water polo team, please contact Schools@maristwaterpolo.co.nz. We will endeavor to place your child in a team.
